FAQ

KSB Amri spare parts & service — frequently asked questions

Is WCS an authorized KSB Amri dealer?

No — WCS is an independent supplier, not affiliated with KSB Amri. Our parts are designed as direct OEM-compatible replacements and carry our 25% Price Guarantee against the OEM price.

What KSB Amri parts does WCS supply?

Spare parts, actuator parts, flange gaskets, HQ actuator cylinders, and metal seals including the larger Danais-size range — all manufactured in-house in Norway.

Do KSB Amri valves use the same sealing technology as Klinger Westad?

Yes — KSB Amri LNG butterfly valves use the same metal-to-metal sealing technology as Klinger Westad, which is why WCS applies the same in-house manufacturing process to both.

Can KSB Amri valves be serviced on board?

Yes, service is available both on board and in dock.

Manufacturer History

About KSB Amri

The AMRI brand traces back to 1959, when a French manufacturer built what became the world's second-largest butterfly valve producer, based in La Roche-Chalais with a research centre near Bordeaux. German pump and valve group KSB acquired AMRI in 1989, making KSB the world leader in cryogenic valves and the French leader in butterfly valves. The AMRI name has continued to change hands since — its North American operations were acquired by Bray International in 2016 and now trade as Amresist — a reminder of how much this market has consolidated around a small number of OEMs.
